Culebra 2008

Just 10 days ago this was my front porch view, Playa Flamenco on the Island of Culebra, Puerto Rico. Our tent was just off to the right, nicely screened by shrubs and palms. Let me know if you want details. For anyone interested in camping, it's ideal.

First post

It's the perfect day to start a blog. The weather is ideal, just above freezing with lots of snow sticking to everything. Great for walking, if not for driving. Makes me happy to be inside, looking out. When you grow up in snow country, a snowstorm means a possible holiday. Snow always feels good to me.

My apologies to all who are struggling with this storm. I hope you can drive safely.
